i lost the cd inlay, but i'm pretty sure it's straight from the board. the 'chicago sessions' bootleg was pretty easy to get in the mid-90s. i just like it for it's unplugged quality and, as you mentioned, the killing drum sound.

Drumkid you're little late . Dazzler was extremely kind enough to host the whole session a couple of months ago. If i remember correctly, the chicago sessions was a radio performance for a big station located in Chicago?

Vinnie is killing on this, the unplugged vibe is a perfect match for Sancious and Vinnie, however it would have been the top if Larry Carlton was sitting in on acoustic, but he was probably busy

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Yep, been and gone I'm afraid.... to be honest I just can't get on with Miller or Sancious' solo ideas. I think that their playing within the songs are ok, but as soon as they start adding fills or taking solos it sounds wrong. I just don't think that they're got anything interesting to say. Sancious is cheesy as hell and what he plays just doesn't get anything close to Kenny Kirkland. I don't like the way he'll copy what Sting has just sung - nasty!

Also, I wish that Dominic Miller wouldn't take a solo - he sounds like a guy that's just got a new distortion pedal and he uses that orrible sound in practically every song. His comping is ok, but when I hear him solo it's like a guy who is practicing in front of every one in the middle of a guitar store!
